Hello Chicago,
I finally visited your fair city after all these years. It was a dream of mine ever since I was a kid. You see I have a grandfather there since the 1920's. He went to the University of Chicago in 1929.
He came and visited us in the Philippines a few times. First in the 1970's and the last time in the early 80's. His name is Marcos Lopez he must be in his late 90's now. He lived in Oaklawn most of his life. Hopefully he is still alive. We have been looking for him all these years. We lost contact after his sister my maternal grandmother died.
That was why I almost shed tears when I was driving down, Lakeshore Blvd on the early evening of March 4, 2008. Tried to hook up with Dem and Jen but it did not work out. Spent the night there checking out the nightlife as best I could.
The following morning continued on my way home to Seattle. Only to be hit by a Semi driving down I-29 in IA. It totaled my car and several guitars. One of which is the custom doubleneck guitar on my profile photo. Anyway at least, I got to see your fair city finally.

Holiday greetings from Heidelberg, Germany. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. You might be wondering what I am doing here in Europe. After my heart attack and the election of Barack Obama. I figure, I better see as much of the world while I can. Then go home to the Philippines for good. No, not to have a good time. I figure I owe our motherland a lot.

tol i was playing an epi casino john lennon replica. very temperemental guitar. i have to constantly tune it after every song, feedbacks like crazy, and the strings corrode faster than my usual string life span, i don[t know what it is. saka dehin din ako humusay, pang porma lang kung baga, hhahahhahhaaa!!
